RGH Ventures is the private investment and consulting activity of its Principal, Randy Hawthorne. We are always interested in proposed private equity investments focused on opportunistic situations involving real estate (especially residential or mixed use properties). Leverage, judiciously applied, enhances value and is desirable in the current financing environment. Partnerships and structured equity positions often create favorable tax-advantaged positions for existing owners. We have also considered private equity investments focused on technology, however, the glut of uninvested venture capital funds makes this segment particularly difficult for the small and mid size investor. We act as a Principal and are willing to consider longer investment horizons. We are available to provide consulting and advisory services, typically focused on appropriate capital structure and feasibility.
